BATELEURS

Formed in 2010 Bateleurs are an exciting contemporary Folk/Rock band based in Wiltshire. Central to their sound is the distinctive dual lead vocals & harmonies of Daryl Ball & Sean Amor.
In 2011 they added a permanent rhythm section with Chris McCormack (drums) and Nick Wall (Bass) joining the band and in 2012 the lineup was completed with Anna Wall joining on fiddle and backing vocals. To broaden their sound Bateleurs employ numerous instruments including mandolin, ukulele, harmonica, recorder, piano, cello & strumstick.
In May 2012 an Extended Edition of their critically acclaimed debut album All In The Past was released with 5 bonus tracks(now available via Homeground). This coincided with a highly successful 20 date UK Summer Festival Tour.
There will be further live dates throughout 2013 and recording of their second album (and first official release under the Homeground label) is now underway ...

MR LOVE & JUSTICE

A collective of musicians primarily based in and around Swindon fronted by singer-songwriter Steve Cox. With a unique very English, very contemporary take on the late 1960s west coast folk/rock crossover sound. With melodies and harmonies to the forefront, but with sometimes hard-edged lyrics, this is intelligent crafted songwriting in the grand tradition.

FIELDFARE

A collaboration of 3 Swindon-based singer-songwriters that grew out of a songwriter's circle at the Lazy Sunday Afternoon shows at Swindon Arts Centre hosted by Mr Love & Justice. Paul Griffiths ex-Stadium Dogs, Cube, King Strut and The Whales joined forces with Mr Love & Justice singer Steve Cox and Swindon's very own Dylanesque troubadour Tim Sawyer to provide new interpretations of each other's songs with acoustic instrumentation and 3-part vocal harmonies to the fore.

The show led to an EP recording project and the result is a varied set of songs with folk, blues and jazz influences all woven into a strong set of original acoustic rootsy songs.

The debut EP title track "Summer's Dress" is the first new song resulting from the project with lyrics from Steve Cox and music by Paul Griffiths. Mr Love & Justice drummer/percussionist also gets involved in the creative process with a co-writing  contribution to Paul's song Build Me Up Again.

The EP is released on Homeground Records on 21st June 2013.
